PHOENIX PHOTOGRAPHER HELPS ARIZONA ROLLER GIRLS WITH FUNDRAISING EFFORTS
Tom Argiro Photography combines portrait experience and marketing savvy to create unique products for the Arizona Roller Girls
Phoenix, AZ– The Arizona Roller Girls league is entering its forth season, and now dedicated fans can show continued support for their favorite teams and skaters. During this season's bouts, the league's merchandise table will have trading cards, calendars, autographed team posters, stadium banners, and various game day products available for sale.
"I love supporting roller derby and what it represents. These women are athletes and dedicated to their sport." said Tom Argiro, owner of Tom Argiro Photography. "They are role models to young women as they demonstrate dedication and sportsmanship. I'll do what I can to support that." Tom Argiro Photography specializes in family portraits, sports photography, and corporate event photography. For this project, Mr. Argiro is creating unique art for derby merchandise. A portion of the sales will benefit the Arizona Roller Girls league.
Arizona Roller Girls is a member of the Womens Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) which is the non-profit governing body for 243 member leagues nationwide and internationally. WFTDA sets standards for rules, safety and seasons. They also foster collaboration and teamwork across leagues, and establishes code of conduct for leagues and skaters.
