Volunteered time to A Dog's Tale Rescue

This is going to be a great week, I can just feel it.  Before 11AM on Monday morning I had a chance to meet a few new people, help out some dogs, and volunteer time to a worthy cause.  What a way to set the tone!

This morning I spent time helping A Dog's Tale Rescue with pictures of the fur-babies that are entrusting their lives and waiting for new forever homes.

Here's the link to the album that I created for them this afternoon:

And you know I can't have this much fun with a photo session without creating a video to share:

  1. Aww, very creative and touching animal photography and video work, Tom! Thx for sharing, so beautiful. Couple shots looked like the dogs were smiling-lol. Loved how you got them to pose on the stands and with backdrops and still be so calm!

  2. Tom, you did an amazing job with the pictures and video. Your talent is greatly appreciated at A Dog's Tale Animal Rescue and the dogs say "Thank you!" for helping them find their furever homes!

  3. Thanks Gin. Brandon (who commented here) was the amazing dog handler behind the curtain. And his wife Brenna was the lovely assistant standing behind me with squeaky toys and things to toss around for attention grabbers.

I mentioned to them a couple times during the session that it "takes a village" to get good dog pictures. We were an awesome team of 3 to pull off some of these shots.
